Course Expectations

What I Expect of You

  1. I expect each of you to read the material presented for each week.  This includes the content, PowerPoint slides, links and other material presented in the module.
  2. I expect that you participate to the best of your ability for each week. 
  3. I expect that you will complete all assignments to the best of your ability and turn the assignments in on time.
  4. I expect that you will do your own work and uphold KSU's standards of academic integrity.
  5. I expect that you will communicate respectfully with all of your classmates and with me.
  6. I expect that you will ask questions that you have in a timely manner.
  7. I expect that you will contribute to the best of your ability to group projects.

What You May Expect of Me

  1. I will always treat everyone with respect
  2. All questions are welcome; if you have a question, chances are others have the same question. I will respond to your questions as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours during the work week.  You may ask questions by email, but you will help others if you will ask your questions in the discussion area.
  3. I will attempt to return graded work within a week of the completion of the assignment.  If I can't meet this expectation, I will let you know.
  4. I will communicate with you regularly through announcements and postings in the course "News" tool and in discussions.
  5. I will assist you in any way I can to help you succeed in this course.
  6. I will make myself available either online or in person when you need help.  My office hours are in the syllabus. Let me know if you need to schedule an on-campus appointment so we can set up a mutual time.
